President
|
President: Mr Yogkumar Phagami extremely thanked to all advisers, VDC’s Rep, committees, ladies committees, youth committees and members for succeeding the first year without any doubt. And also said special thanks to previous committees for giving us more fundamentalism ideas to preserve our prestige of MYAGDI. Some projects have been completed and some projects are to be done such as;
- Telephone directory – completed
- Wed site – completed
- Dr Mahabir Pun Project is on going.
- Suk Maya BK Project is on going.
- Ambulance Project is on going.
1) He would like to say thanks for the tremendous support towards the ambulance project back in Nepal and it is kind of the humanitarian aids to save their life. In fact we were grown from the very same villages and educated from there but poverty is still the problem in the area. We can not solve that problem completely by donating two ambulances but it is better than nothing. However at least we can do some thing to help the families and friends in emergencies even though they are surviving still in remote place at present.
2) He also added, as being a president of MONA UK it is not done in an autocratic order and every single member has their own say in the committee and the president doesn’t go ahead unless everyone agrees. The ambulance project was our democratic Myagdeli’s plan and for the Myagdelis. Yes of course we know and he knows this project does not cover for whole area of the Myagdi and every single house families, due to natural geographical problems and there are various terrains in the area (e.g. mountains). However in the future if another project comes up in the future it might benefit the other areas. Therefore please be patient and do not think negatively please and please let us hold hands together, shoulders to shoulders and work together for the MYAGDELIs.
3) The President has seen on the donors list people are still contributing even though they are receiving pension credits, other benefit, and students and from other various places, district’s families and friends have contributed even pence on the project which is a great help to us. He therefore once again from the bottom of his heart and on behalf from all Myagdelis he would like to take this opportunity to say thanks for your contribution and it is greatly appreciated on the project.
4) He explained forthcoming forecast of events stage by stage.
